Around the world
How incredible is Google Maps with Street View? With its ability to display images and famous landmarks from all seven continents, I'd say that's pretty darn amazing. Now poor people like me who dream of traveling the world don't actually need to empty our bank accounts to explore the places we've dreamed of going to. In mere seconds, we can pretend we are walking to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, strolling by the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris, admiring the view at Fjæra, Norway, or saying hi to the penguins on Half Moon Island, Antarctica.
I just spent about half an hour navigating around these places. What other places do you think would be interesting to "go" to?

Nutella chip cookies? Yes please!
Hello! Another weekend has arrived. Last weekend's events were full of excitement: I made not one, but two strikes in bowling (a first for me!), explored as much as I could in Seattle (pictures to come once I get them developed), and had a ball stuffing myself silly with Indian food and watching talented people perform at the UNICEF fundraiser.
Today, I made more cookies! I'm suddenly a little obsessed with baking lately, mostly because I discovered an amazing blog with a plethora of delicious-looking and unique recipes. I'll admit, I can be a bit of a disaster in the kitchen, but I do enjoy baking. And naturally, I was drawn to their Nutella chip cookies recipe. I just had to try it out right away!
I made four dozen of them, but unfortunately the first batch of them burned.
I had to be super careful the second time, and they turned out alright!
The best part about making these was licking the bowl and sticking my finger in the Nutella jar as I worked. Who can resist?
Ta!

What a gorgeous spring day in Vancouver! Today I'm relaxing with some tea and cookies. I spent most of yesterday afternoon baking an enormous batch of strawberry tart cookies. The dough was a bit crumbly, but otherwise, they were extremely simple and tonnes of fun to make. The whole house was filled with that bakery smell. I think that's what I like most about baking. That, and pigging out on my fresh treats, of course!
I'm looking forward to the weekend, as I've got an eventful one ahead of me: bowling, attending a charity event for UNICEF, and a day trip to Seattle. Eek!
Toodles!

Greetings!
It's my first blog post, ever! I'm hoping to keep you updated about events and adventures in life; and share photographs, videos, and writing that are of current interest to me as I navigate through life after post-secondary. I shall try to capture all that's lovely, beautiful, and quirky - just like you!
To start, I'd love to share this vid with you:
LOVING the way Thom Yorke dances like nobody's watching. I'd love to get together with a bunch of my besties and dance exactly the way we feel. Wouldn't you?
xoxo
